Lisa Mazenauer (*1996) is an artist who graduated from ECAL with honors. After studying sociology and art history, she pursued her research through image-making. Influenced by her family’s mining heritage, she explores the space between archaeology, extractivism, and memory, weaving connections between past and present. Through installations, film, photography and sound, she questions the construction of History and the profound interaction between human ambition and the landscapes that we shape. Her work has recently been exhibited at Kunsthaus Baselland, Biennale de la Photographie de Mulhouse, Espace 3353, Atelier Mondial, Galerie C, Videoex, Photoforum Pasquart, MBAL, IPFO.
